What they say about us

Mozart or not Mozart, how wonderful!

“Il Furibondo”: Liana Mosca violin, Gianni de Rosa viola, Marcello Scandelli cello
Stradivarius 2016 rec.: 2013
★★★★
The three performers play with intelligence and musicality, but also with the necessary awareness and ability to listen to each other, always giving the impression of knowing full well what a wonder of beauty and musical fragility they have on their music stands.

★★★★★
Three young musicians offer us a document of Bach’s fortune in Vienna in the last decades of the 18th century, interpreting it with extreme clarity and the appropriate stylistic sensibility. [] The collection deserved the refinement and the commitment of three outstanding performers.

★★★★★
The performances of the trio “Il Furibondo”, composed of Liana Mosca (violin), Gianni de Rosa (viola) and Marcello Scandelli (cello), three well-known names in the field of Baroque music and as members of the ensemble “Il Giardino Armonico”, are an absolute point of reference for the balance and the homogeneity of the sound. What’s more, reading these trios in the light of the Mozartian classicism rather than unnaturally leading them back into the Bachian cradle they come from is a totally embraceable idea, allowing for the surfacing of Mozart’s love and huge respect for the genius of Eisenach without nonetheless renouncing the Salzburguese’s original creative spirit.
